Police Investigate Vehicle Break-Ins, Seek Community Assistance

WEST CHESTER, PA — The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department (WEGO PD) is calling on residents of the Bow Tree Development in East Goshen Township for assistance following a series of vehicle break-ins reported in the early hours of April 19, 2024.

Authorities are in the process of investigating these incidents and are urging local community members to review any footage from surveillance cameras and inspect their vehicles for signs of suspicious activity during the overnight period. An individual described as an African American male, approximately six feet tall with a slender build, was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray pants, a gray mask, and light-colored shoes.

WEGO PD is appealing to the public to come forward with any relevant surveillance video, information on suspicious vehicles, or reports of vehicle break-ins.
