BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced important road closures in Bucks County due to pipe replacement work that will impact local and through traffic. Residents and commuters are advised to prepare for detours and possible delays in the affected areas.

On Friday, April 19, Tollgate Road will be inaccessible between Broad Street/Trumbauersville Road and Route 309 (West End Boulevard) in the borough of Trumbauersville and the townships of Milford and Richland. This closure is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Motorists in need of an alternative route during this time are encouraged to use Trumbauersville Road and Route 309 (West End Boulevard) to circumvent the construction zone.

The pipe replacement efforts will continue on Monday, April 22, extending through Friday, May 3. During this period, Route 32 (River Road) will be closed on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The affected stretch includes the area between Aquetong Road and Route 232 (Windy Bush Road) within New Hope Borough and Solebury Township. Detour routes for this closure will involve Aquetong Road and Route 232 (Windy Bush Road), providing an alternate path for travelers.

PennDOT assures that local access to residences and businesses along these roads will be maintained throughout the duration of the construction work. However, all drivers are urged to allocate extra travel time when navigating near these areas to accommodate potential congestion and delays arising from the detours.

These infrastructure improvements are critical for the safety and efficiency of the transportation network in Bucks County. The schedule for these activities is subject to change based on weather conditions. Motorists and residents are encouraged to stay informed on updates regarding these closures and plan their travel accordingly to minimize inconvenience.
