LANCASTER, PA — The buzz is building in Lancaster County, as the Lancaster Stormers gear up for an electrifying Opening Night at Clipper Magazine Stadium this Tuesday, April 30th. Celebrating 20 years and four championships, the stage is set for a memorable evening that combines athletic prowess with heartfelt celebration.
Gates swing open at 5:45 PM, setting the scene for an evening filled with excitement and anticipation. The highlight of the pre-game ceremonies, starting at 6:00 PM, will be the presentation of championship rings to members of last year’s triumphant squad. Six players along with the entire coaching staff will be adding a second consecutive Atlantic League ring to their collection, while four newcomers will experience the honor for the first time.
Adding to the nostalgia, the event will pay homage to all four of Lancaster’s Atlantic League championships. Honorary first pitches will be thrown by the legendary skippers who steered the team to glory – Tommy Herr (2006), Butch Hobson (2014), and Ross Peeples (2022 and 2023).

The Stormers are firmly focused on the future, aiming to etch their names in the history books by securing a title for the third straight season – a feat never before accomplished in the Atlantic League.
