MALVERN, PA & ASHBURN, VA — In a major move within the security and surveillance industry, 3SI Security Systems and Wren Solutions have merged with Edge360, a leader in video management solutions. This merger represents a significant step forward in the mission to transform crime prevention and safety measures across various sectors.

The strategic union was born out of an intensive planning process between 3SI and Wren, culminating in the integration with Edge360, renowned for its innovative Surveill platform. Surveill stands out in the market for its use of modern information technology architecture, including containers and microservices, which enable it to provide a robust solution that lowers the total cost of ownership while ensuring peak performance.

This merger brings together nearly 400 employees from the three companies, uniting their strengths to offer clients comprehensive solutions for combating theft, mitigating repeat offenses, and enhancing public safety. The synergized approach aims to address the entire crime cycle—from detection and deterrence to the apprehension of criminals—using cutting-edge technology and inventive strategies.

Matt Kushner, the CEO of the newly merged entity, expressed enthusiasm about the merger’s potential to foster innovation and bolster their presence in the physical security sector. “By harnessing our collective expertise, we’re not only strengthening our competitive position but also reaffirming our dedication to leading-edge solutions in crime prevention,” Kushner remarked.

Edge360, established in 2010 by John Rezzonico and Bill MacKrell, initially served as a systems integrator tackling significant security challenges for clients. The development of Surveill, in response to client difficulties with existing video management platforms, marks a pivotal achievement for Edge360, now embraced by both commercial enterprises and government entities.

John Rezzonico, co-founder and president of Edge360, sees the merger as a confirmation of past successes and a springboard for future advancements. “Our union represents a powerful combination of unique strengths, setting us on a path to broaden our impact and deliver innovative solutions across financial, retail, law enforcement, and governmental sectors,” Rezzonico commented.
